THE PORTAL
One day everything changed for one Lithel. As he wandered through one of the many dark and damp caves, the only sound echoing off the walls was the quiet shuffle of his footsteps. The air was thick with the musty scent of stone, causing him to shiver slightly as he navigated the winding tunnels. Suddenly, a faint glimmer of light caught his eye, drawing him towards a small opening in the cavern wall. Stepping closer, he gasped at the sight before him - a pool of crystal-clear water that sparkled like diamonds in the dim light.
Curiosity piqued, the Lithel cautiously approached the pool and knelt down to dip his hand into the cool water. A sense of serenity washed over him as he watched the ripples dance in the gentle glow. As he gazed into the depths of the pool, a faint shimmer of light trailed to the opening in the distance. Mesmerized, he leaned in closer, unable to tear his eyes away from the portal that seemed to be calling out to him. Without hesitation, he plunged his hand into the water, feeling a surge of energy pulsing through his veins as he was suddenly swept through the portal
PLANET EARTH
When he emerged on the other side, he found himself in a place unlike anything he had ever seen. Tall buildings towered above him, strange vehicles zoomed past on smooth roads, and beings unlike anything he had encountered before walked the streets. The Lithel was in awe of what he discovered - he had been transported to modern day Earth.
Confused and disoriented, as he gazed around in awe, a wise-looking elder approached him. She had long white hair and kind eyes. She gestured to the vastness ahead and told the young Lithel to go and explore and discover the wonders this world has to offer. She ended the conversation by saying when ready, return and she would show him how to get home.
As he wandered the streets, he attracted the attention of curious humans who were fascinated by his alien appearance. They marvelled at his stony skin, his silvery hair, and his warm aura - all things that made him stand out in a crowd of ordinary people
The Lithel quickly became a sensation, with news outlets and scientists clamoring to study him and learn more about his origins. As he adjusted to his new surroundings, the Lithel found himself caught between two worlds - the familiar harshness of Litheland and the wonder of modern day Earth.
But as time passed, the Lithel realized that he missed his home planet and the simple way of life he had left behind. And so, bidding farewell to his newfound friends and allies, he returned to the kind-eyed elder who showed him how to return to Litheland, forever changed by his incredible journey to another world.
And though he was just one Lithel, his story would be told for generations to come, inspiring others to dream of the possibilities that lay beyond their own world. The Lithel had truly become a bridge between two worlds, a symbol of hope and exploration in a vast and infinite universe.
